Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect through workunit.net, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We process data in line with the Ukrainian Law “On Personal Data Protection” No. 2297-VI and, for visitors from the EU/EEA, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Who we are
The data controller is WORK UNIT LLC (TOV «VORK UNIT», the Work Unit brand), Company ID (EDRPOU) 41253728, registered at 75/1A Vodoprovidna St., office 11, Khmelnytskyi, 29000, Ukraine.
Data protection contact: workunit.agency@gmail.com, phone +380 97 674 72 73.
2. What data we collect
Enquiry-form data: name, company, country, sector, headcount, email, phone, your message and the consent mark.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, referring page and UTM tags — to the extent needed to run the site and prevent spam.
Messages you send via the online chat (on the Ukrainian version of the site).
We do not collect special categories of data and we do not make automated decisions about you.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Responding to your enquiry and communicating about our services — based on your consent (the form checkbox) and/or steps taken prior to entering into a contract.
Compliance with applicable law.
For EU/EEA visitors the legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual steps) and 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.
4. Who we share data with
Providers processing data on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (site hosting), a transactional email delivery service, a CRM system for handling enquiries and a messenger notification for our team.
We do not sell personal data and never share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Where data is transferred outside Ukraine or the EEA, we apply appropriate safeguards (including standard contractual clauses).
5. Retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to 3 years after our last communication, or until you withdraw consent — whichever comes first. It is then deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a portable format and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, email workunit.agency@gmail.com — we respond within 30 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, for EU residents, with your national supervisory authority.
7. Cookies
The site uses a minimum of cookies: strictly necessary ones (to run the site) and functional ones (online chat) — the latter load only after your consent via the cookie banner.
You can change your choice by clearing the site data in your browser — the banner will appear again.
8. Security
The connection to the site is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). Access to personal data is limited to authorised staff who need it for their duties.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
